What it does
Point it at a folder and it reads the spreadsheets, PDFs, and documents there, then produces Word documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. Plugins add ready-made skills, like a full SEO audit of your website. Anthropic now describes Cowork as part of Claude, so you may see either name in the desktop app.

How to get started
- Open a new Claude Cowork prompt and type: claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/knowledge-work-plugins
- Then type: claude plugin install Marketing
- Type a single / to see the skills the plugin added.
- Run /seo-audit followed by your website address.
One thing to watch
Anthropic's usage policy bars help selling controlled substances illegally, and cannabis is still federally illegal. Point it at reports, spreadsheets, and documents rather than product promotions.
